We’re opening our doors to families for our Kid’s Open Make program.
Families have access to our space, project kits, and basic hand tools to create, explore, and learn. A few of the project kits have an associated activity fee to cover the cost of materials. For these projects, children are able to take home their projects at the end of the day. Otherwise, the program is free to families.
Kids are welcome to bring their own projects or work on ours. We also have crafts, electronics, snap circuits, robots, Minecraft, and more.
Note: This is not a drop off activity. Parents must stay to supervise and assist their kids on projects.
Special Project: This week we’re participating in the annual Fluor Challenge! Join us to build a top-down water flow inspired by Banaue Rice Terraces! More info at http://www.sciencebuddies.org/fluor-challenge?hc_location=ufi
We go through quite a bit of consumable materials in our Kid’s Open Make program. We keep a list of needed items on our wiki.
Donations are always gratefully accepted. Look for the donation jar when you get here.
