Description: Introduction to Software Defined Radio (SDR) is a brief overview of the concepts, basic equipment, and usages for beginners. The course will encompass an intro to GNURadio as well as other SDR related software and is the first in a series of classes exploring radio and signals theory.

Materials: We’ll provide the SDR (Make/Model: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009U7WZCA/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and a thumbdrive with a bootable Linux image (Kali) pre-installed with all the software you’ll need to run the SDR.

Cost: Non-Members: $40 ($25 SDR + $15 fee)
Members: $25 (SDR)
