Instructor: Steve Graves, master maker.
I am changing the description below. This is an introduction to circuits. The assumption is that a student knows very little. The building of a circuit will be done in the next class in the series. In this class, I hope to take you from knowing very little, to feeling like you can build a circuit with a good idea of why it works.
This class builds on our Intro to Arduino class, and is a hands-on approach to basic circuits with the goal of building your first simple project using the Sparkfun Redboard Starter Kit.
Bring your own laptop. You should have a downloaded the Arduino programming environment prior to class. You can obtain it for from http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
Cost: $15 for non-members, free for members.
If you need the Red Board Kit, it is $50. Those who took our Intro to Arduino class will already have this (and once you have it, you’re good to go for Intro to Arduino too).
