Hackster Hardware Meetups are for anyone looking to learn about electronics and hardware hacking. It’s an open and supportive environment for people at all levels. Absolute beginners, Welcome! Learn the basics of circuits, make things blink. We’ll have snacks and fun hardware on hand.

This hackster night will focus on the Intel Edison. The Edison is a tiny computer (like a Raspberry Pi) from Intel. It’s a development system that will help you explore the IoT space and create innovative projects.

We’ll have Intel Edisons and a Grove Starter Kit to play with after the presentation.

We’ll be working step-by-step through installing the Edison development platform and a simple IOT example using the Grove IOT Kit.

If you’re curious about getting started with electronics, hardware hacking, or the Intel Edison, come by!

This hack night will be the first in a series designed to help people get started with electronics! Sponsored by Hackster.io and Intel.
