Introduction to Fusion 360

In this class, we’ll cover:

1. Overview of Fusion 360 capabilities
2. User interface and tool bar basics
3. Planning – How to turn an idea into a drawing
4. Creating a 2D sketch
5. Basic 2D drawing tools
6. 2D drawing
7. Basic 3D design tools
8. Turning 2D drawings into 3D objects
9. Modifying 3D objects
10. Creating 3D printable objects

Students must have their own laptop with Fusion 360 installed.  Basic System Requirements:

Apple Mac® OS® X Mavericks (10.9.5), OS® X Yosemite (10.10.5), OS® X El Capitan (10.11)
Microsoft® Windows® 7 SP1 or Microsoft® Windows® 8.1, Windows® 10
CPU: 64-bit processor (32-bit not supported)
Memory: 3GB RAM (4GB or more recommended)
Wifi internet connection
Disk space: ~2.5GB
Graphics Card: 512MB GDDR RAM or more, except Intel GMA X3100 cards
Pointing device: Microsoft-compliant mouse, Apple Mouse, Magic Mouse, MacBook Pro trackpad

Members $10; non-members $20
