We’re opening our doors to families for our Kid’s Open Make program.
Families have access to our space, project kits, and basic hand tools to create, explore, and learn. A few of the project kits have an associated activity fee to cover the cost of materials. For these projects, children are able to take home their projects at the end of the day. Otherwise, the program is free to families.
Kids are welcome to bring their own projects or work on ours. We also have crafts, electronics, snap circuits, robots, Minecraft, and more.
Note: This is not a drop off activity. Parents must stay to supervise and assist their kids on projects.
Special Project: We are making circuits with Chibitronics and Light Scribe. Students can take the project home (except for the Light Scribe electronics). $5 requested donation.
Materials for other projects are always welcome. We’re currently looking for:
• Felt
• Scissors
• Hot glue guns and sticks
• LEGO
• Paint shirts (or other coveralls)
• Card stock
• rubber bands
Donations gratefully accepted.
