We’ll start with the basics for using Tinkercad (a free, online 3D design application) and then cover more advanced topics and a great list of design tips to make your objects suitable for 3D printing.
You’ll need a laptop with Mozilla or Chrome browser. Internet Explorer and Safari are not supported. WebGL is a requirement.
Now with bonus content. You’ll learn how to output a slice of your model for use on the space’s new laser cutter! Here is a 3D model I was able to output for laser cutting.
$5 for members, $15 for non-members. Day passes for use of the 3D printers will be available for purchase after the class. (Not for use the day of the class).
