This class covers basic safety and usage of our Miller welder for TIG-welding steel. It is required for sign off to use our welder. (MIG or TIG for aluminum and other metals is a future class.)

It is open to paid hackerspace members only. For details on becoming a member of Tampa Hackerspace, please visit http://tampahackerspace.com/membership/

This class has a $30 fee. Please pay it at https://squareup.com/store/tampahackerspace/item/tig-welding-sign-off .

Limit 3 students.

SAFETY: Everyone must wear a long sleeve shirt & pants for protection. Sparks may damage. Cotton is best, nylon can melt and stick to skin.

PLEASE NOTE: When you first respond to this meetup, you will be wait-listed. As memberships are verified and payments are received, we will move you to the Yes list until the class is at capacity.
