Our facility consists of several shop areas. For a more complete and up-to-date list of available equipment, please refer to our wiki.
We have a pretty well-equipped woodshop. Larger tools include: SawStop PCS31230 3HP 10″ table saw, Bosch GCM12SD 12″ miter saw, Laguna MBAND1412-175 bandsaw, Powermatic 15HH 15″ planer, Delta DJ-20 8″ jointer, Woodmaster W-3875 drum sander, edge belt sander, drill press, and multiple lathes. We have a large collection of hand tools. We also have two woodshop CNCs: a ShopBot that can take 4’x8′ sheets and a smaller Romax CNC.
We run a lab of 3D printers. Our primary tool is a set of six Prusa i3 MK3S+ printers but we have additional printers on hand.
We have a Tormach CNC 770, Grizzly G0695 vertical mill, Grizzly G0750G 12″ x36″ lathe, smaller lathes, grinders, MIG and TIG welding station, CNC plasma cutter, handheld plasma cutter, bandsaws, tubing bender, drill press, and a media blasting cabinet. We recently (early 2024) received a large donation of a large box/finger brake, roll bender, notcher, a Piranha ironworker, and other equipment and are working to get it set up.
We have a class set of soldering stations and related equipment. We have oscilloscopes, a bench power supply, and a logic analyzer. We have a small stock of electronic parts.
We have a Universal Laser M-360 60 watt laser engraver. We recently acquired a larger Universal Laser PLS6.75 60 watt and expect to have it available for use by fall 2024.
Our sewing shop has sewing machines including multiple heavy duty industrial machines, sergers, a Babylock BND9 embroidery machine, space for material cutting, and a lot of donated fabric and supplies.
We have some donated smaller Silhouette machines but our main vinyl cutter is the larger Expert II LX. We have flat / shirt and hat heat presses in screen printing that work well for heat transfer vinyl.
We have a Merchmakr screen printing system and heat presses. We also have some equipment for dye sublimation but have not set it up yet.
We have multiple kilns but the Jen-Ken JK-1811 gets the most use.
We have several computer-controlled paper / vinyl cutters, large format printers, button maker, paper cutters, and more.
We have a large workroom (shared with laser engravers and electronics) with 4’x8′ tables, white boards, and television. This room can hold at least 20 people, more if we move tables.
We have a smaller classroom / cowork room that can fit about 8 people. We have a lobby with conference table that can hold about 8 people. We have a larger dedicated classroom that can about 30 people.
We have numerous educational kits for kids including LEGO robotics, littleBits, Makey Makey, etc.
We have a small kitchen with a fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave, but otherwise have no cooking facilities.
We have on-site storage rental available for members. Large 27 gallon totes are $5 / month (billed annually). Pallets are available at $30/month.
